Our team as of now is focusing on the Mithila region, Bihar, one of the 38th districts in Bihar. The efforts involve interaction with the affected and redressal of their encountered problems

CFPI is helping the people of the district Madhubani, Bihar in the following capacities:

Awareness: Our team is conducting door-to-door interaction with families to educate people and make them aware of the COVID-19 situation and the ways to overcome the problems arising out of the flood in their areas.

Sanitary Products: This is crucial to reduce the chances of community transmission. The People in the villages neither have the capacity nor have the accessibility to mask and sanitisation. We ensure the availability of sanitary resources to keep themselves safe.

Supplying meals/ration: Although we believe the state government may be distributing food items to people in the district, however, there are families and individuals who due to some issues are out of the PDS system. CFPI provides ready-to-eat food or dry rations to those left out.

Training: We train the people to make the best use of sanitary items and to deal with the COVID scientifically and effectively. The majority of the people living in the villages are illiterate and they are not aware, not accustomed to the hygiene conditions.

Sanitisation : Our teams are working day and night to sanitise crowded areas which have a high probability of spreading the infection due to the continuous inflow of people. Similarly, our teams also sanitise flooded areas, which reduced the probability of water-borne diseases.
